2018 San Francisco Decorator Showcase Recap

This year we had the honor of designing a room on the second floor of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase. We converted an empty shell into the Unapologetically Pink Rosé Lounge.

One of the standout features of the room was the Zap carpet from The Rug Company. Our room was in a unique position in that it led to multiple other spaces. Every wall but one had a door. The hand-knotted Tibetan wool rug was custom colored to complement each of the surrounding areas. This soft, abstract rug featured 64 yarn colors and allowed us to stay true to our design and aesthetic.

When designing a lounge space, the seating options always take center stage. We chose a custom gondola sofa fabricated by Cypress Furniture in a blush fabric from Cowtan & Tout. This low-slung, tufted sofa invites visitors to sit and linger. We paired this with Noble Goods Shard Cocktail Table. The table composed of a walnut base with a white concrete top features a playful inlay of brass rings that imitate wine stains.

The item that we were all waiting for (literally to arrive from Italy) safely made it to the decorator showcase. We were overjoyed to display the CTRLZAK Precious Storage Safe. The crystal clear safe is a decorative yet functional piece that allows everyone to decide what is worth guarding.

We want to thank all of our vendors who helped us bring the Unapologetically Pink Rosé Lounge to life. From Simon Breitbard Fine Arts who lent us Landon Nordeman’s, “Chloe No. 1 (Trust)” print to Almond & Co for the Valentin Loellmann Copper Console with blackened oak doors, our showcase room was edgy, modern, opulent and without a doubt, unapologetically pink.

All items in our Unapologetically Pink Rosé Lounge are for sale. Please contact info@coddingtondesign.com for prices and speculations.
