Happy 2017! We were glad to turn the page on 2016 and usher in a sparkling new year. Our calendars are already filling up with glamorous and inspiring events in the coming months. From interior installations to wine country getaways, it feels like the year ahead is bursting with possibility. In fact, this weekend we have two events that are sure to inspire!
This year will mark the fourth annual FOG Design+Art Fair, which will take place January 12 – 15th, 2017 at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. This art fair brings a huge amount of modern art to San Francisco with 45 international galleries, a special installation created by Stanlee Gatti, and an agenda of interesting talks with designers and artists.
FOG has become one of the most important art fairs on the West Coast with its balanced mingling of fine art and design. This year’s notable guests include Tony Award winner Carole Shorenstein Hays speaking about designing for the stage, mixed media artist Sterling Ruby, and contemporary photographer Todd Hido. The full list of features and exhibitors can be found on the FOG Design + Art.
You can check out the fair from 11am-7pm Thursday, January 12 through Saturday, January 14 and 11am-5pm on Sunday, January 15th.
Untitled, Art will have its San Francisco debut this weekend! Founded in 2012, this international art fair brings together a curated exhibition of art galleries, performances, and film. This year’s event will feature 50 exhibitors from ten different countries. One of my favorite aspects of this inaugural event is the emphasis on architecture. Untitled, Art will be presented in a space specifically designed and built on Pier 70 in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco. The Dogpatch is an upcoming arts neighborhood and very close to our Coddington Design office in Potrero Hill! Be sure to check out this exciting event from January 13-15, 2017. Get all the info at Untitled, Art.
