Discovering Design: Studiopatró March 24, 2016
Finding artists and makers inspired by the same design principles and aesthetics as our own is always an exciting and shareable event! Alyssa, our Design Assistant, first discovered Studiopatró at last year’s West Coast Craft exhibition and she immediately fell in love with the quality of work in their products. Located in the San Francisco neighborhood of North Beach, Christina Weber started Studiopatró with an influential background in art photography, designing catalogs for Williams-Sonoma, and teaching art. She describes her work as “beautiful” and “useful”, two concepts that also guide all of our interior design projects.
Studiopatró offers an impressive collection of creative additions for your kitchen. The hand-printed tea towels stand out with their beautifully curated designs in modern prints, culinary inspired word clouds, and lively colors. Whether used in a table setting or for drying dishes, these tea towels will add a subtle accent of detail and warmth to a kitchen. Aprons, bistro towels, napkins, and flour sack towels are also available in a well chosen palette that ranges from bold and bright to natural and muted. We love to add fresh fabrics into kitchens whenever possible and many of Studiopatró’s products are 100% linen. When it’s time to add a few thoughtfully designed and wonderfully functional essentials to your kitchen, check out the hand-printed handiwork at Studiopatró.
