Inspiration: Bold Prints and Patterns February 9, 2016
As a designer, there’s so much I stay connected to and surround myself with to keep the flow of inspiration a constant in my life. Right now, I’m feeling so creatively energized by bold prints and patterns! Working with lively colors and and intricate patterns brings a sense of intrigue and individuality to our projects. I was particularly inspired by the glamorous Designers Guild wallpaper we are using for the powder room in one of our current San Francisco projects (updates on that project coming soon!).
The beauty of boldness is that it can be applied with strategic precision to highlight the subtle details of a space or it can be used as the focal point of a room to make a unique statement. Bold elements aren’t confined to paint colors and some of our favorites range from wood finish ceramic tiles to hand-crafted wallcoverings and fabrics. I wanted to share my a few of the fabrics, prints, and products that we are loving for their bold style.
