Prior to moving to Oakland, this cottage was Melanie Coddington’s design lab for a number of years. Imagined as a beautiful jewel box, this project was designed on a budget without compromising quality. The result is a feminine blend of Swedish and French antiques, America mid-century and flea market finds paired with modern accessories and art. Some of Melanie’s favorite moments include the living room’s beaded wallpaper, the dining room’s Venetian horse chandelier, and the custom velvet sofa and vintage moth lamp in the den.
