Our Designer On Demand service gives you remote, by-the-hour access to our experienced team, who will give you as much guidance or hands-on support as you need. Common areas where we can help include:

How It Works

1. Exploration

After booking your first session, you will receive prep work to share more about your home, style, and goals. Your thoughtful answers will help us make the most of our time together.

2. Initial Consult

Join your interior designer for an action-packed 90 minutes over Zoom. We’ll discuss your challenges, share expert advice, and identify additional ways we can support you throughout the project.

3. Add As You Go

Reserve an additional 1, 5, 10, 15, or 20 hours, as you move your project along. No max, no min. Packages include valuable, in-house resources for organization, documentation, guidance, and more.

How do I know if this service is right for me?
The Designer on Demand service is best for those who want to lead and maintain control of their projects. You may also have been called a “leader” or “perfectionist” and are often the person others turn to for style advice. In other words, you have ideas and you want the best, you just need an experienced professional to help you expect the unexpected, guide you where needed, and ensure a high-end, livable result.
Is there a minimum time commitment? Or maximum?
The benefit of using this flexible service is that you are free to manage your project at your own pace, and we’re available to support you if and when needed. The minimum time commitment is one hour, with the option to add hours or a block of 5, 10, 15, or 20 hours. You can always add more hours as your project progresses.
Who will I be working with?
We will match you with one of our team’s world-class interior designers, all of whom have formal design training, project experience, and adhere to the Coddington mission of helping you express your style. We have spent 17+ years building our team and network in the industry, and we know you will love them!
Why is Designer On Demand offered remotely?
We have been designing homes since 2005 and designing remotely since 2015… before it became cool. With hundreds of home designs and thousands of room designs under our belts, we have the systems, processes, and on-the-ground experience to do it right. This is not e-design. This is the same luxury interior design you would experience in our studio, delivered at a distance.
Where do you source products, materials, and furnishings?
We have an extensive network of vendors and suppliers we love, but we don’t play favorites. We will tailor our selection to your desired investment, quality level, and any other considerations you may have around customization, sustainability, and performance. Some products may be sourced retail, while others, such as custom drapery, may involve you taking our designs and precise measurements to your local workroom for fabrication.
How much does it cost?
The initial 90-minute session with your designer is $750. Following the call, you’ll have the option to add single hours at $350/hour, or you can choose a package of 5, 10, 15, or 20 hours, also at $350/hour. We will discuss your desired investment at the outset of your project and share time estimates that reflect the level of support you’re looking for. We believe in transparency, so if you’re unsure of anything, please ask!
