Reach out to us via our contact form here. You’ll receive an email from us to book an initial call to discuss your goals for your home and discover whether this service is right for you.

2. RECEIVE A QUOTE

You’ll receive a custom quote for the scope of support you’d like to receive from us and our estimated number of design hours. We’re happy to book these block by block with you.

3. KICKOFF THE PROJECT

You’re ready to begin! We gather all the information we need, arrange any additional calls with you to discuss the finer details, and start taking fast action on your goals, together.

How do I know if this service is right for me?
If you’re the kind of person who organizes the girls’ trips, loves checking things off lists, and thrives in leadership roles, this service is for you. You have ideas and you want the best — you just need an experienced professional to help you expect the unexpected, guide you where needed, and ensure a high-end, livable result.
Is there a minimum time commitment? Or maximum?
The benefit of using this flexible service is that you are free to manage your project at your own pace, and we’re available to support you if and when needed. There are no minimum time commitments!
Who will I be working with?
We will match you with one of our team’s world-class interior designers, all of whom have formal design training, project experience, and adhere to the Coddington mission of helping you express your style. We have spent 17+ years building our team and network in the industry, and we know you will love them!
Is Designer On Demand offered remotely?
Yes, although most of our clients are local to the San Francisco Bay Area. We will absolutely work virtually or come to you and go over the project in person, along with either in-person or virtual follow up meetings. We want what works best for you. We have been designing homes since 2005 and designing remotely since 2015… before it became cool. With hundreds of home designs and thousands of room designs under our belts, we have the systems, processes, and on-the-ground experience to do it right.
Where do you source products, materials, and furnishings?
We have an extensive network of vendors and suppliers we love, but we don’t play favorites. We will tailor our selection to your desired investment, quality level, and any other considerations you may have around customization, sustainability, and performance. Some products may be sourced retail, while others, such as custom drapery, may involve you taking our designs and precise measurements to your local workroom for fabrication.
What are the costs involved?

We believe in starting our journey together with an open conversation about your investment preferences. We’ll talk about your desired budget at the beginning of your project and provide you with estimated design time based on the level of support you’re seeking. Depending on the scope of your project, a fully refundable retainer fee will be required.

Our hourly rate for design services is $350. We value transparency and want you to feel comfortable with every aspect of the process, so please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions or uncertainties!
